My fascination with birch trunks and b/w photography stems from their shared simplicity and striking elegance. Birch trunks, with smooth white bark and dark lines, form natural, minimalistic patterns, while b/w photography emphasizes texture, contrast, and form.
A couple of weeks with tremendous weather postponed the autumn and an evening bath was possible in September. The next day autumn and colder weather put an end to bathing for normal people;)
A few shots with the Pentax 645 on a mostly dull and grey day. A nice opportunity to find the black and white film and work with the contrasts. Kentmere 100 for this occasion.

Following a path along the inner fjords of Trøndelag. The water in this natural bay was silent with only a passing crow in a haste.
